A wave cut as a flat profile with parallel faces, so the form exists entirely in silhouette. The body is an opaque white and the whole of the top edge is run in a clear amber that follows every crest and trough, running over the broad crest at one end and down that end itself. Below, two shallow arches are cut out of the underside, leaving three feet. It is delivered as the profile alone, standing on the feet the wave is cut down to.
Cutting a wave as a flat profile removes every tool a sculptor normally has: there is no modelling, no turning surface and nothing for light to do across the faces. What is left is the edge, and so the edge carries the whole piece. Running amber along it does two things at once. It marks the line the form is made of, and because the amber is clear against an opaque body it glows where the white simply sits, which gives a flat object an apparent depth it has no right to. Cutting the feet from the wave rather than adding them keeps the profile unbroken from end to end.
Put it on a desk, a bookshelf or a sill. The sill is worth arguing for: the amber edge only lights up with something behind it. Set flat against a wall the piece is a white shape with an orange line on it. At this size it is read from close, where the gloss of the amber edge shows against the satin white. Cut as a flat profile, the wave exists only edge-on, and the amber run along the top is what keeps the white body from disappearing against a pale wall.
Every standard piece is made in 3–4 weeks, and every bespoke commission in 5–6. The amber edge is run down both faces, the wave is cut to more crests, and the white is warmed toward cream. The profile is cut at other widths, and the crest count is set to the run. Running the amber down both faces instead of along the edge alone makes a warmer and much less graphic object. The crest count is set higher where a longer profile is wanted. It travels in one box standing upright with the feet bedded, and it comes out held by the white body, never by the amber edge. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A white wave profile edged with clear amber along every crest sits with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
