White & Green Curling Leaf Sculpture, resin blades fading from green to white, atop a 130cm black marble plinth with veining, plain background.
White & Green Curling Leaf Sculpture on Black Marble Plinth - 130cm $2,22700
Description

A cluster of curling blades, green where they spring from the base and fading to white toward their tips, rising and turning like leaves or petals opening to the sun. One tall blade folds over at the top. They are printed in resin and stand on a tall black marble plinth threaded with fine white veins, which comes with them and gives the pale form a dark column beneath it.

Green Fading to White Through Curled Blades

Printing lets the blades be thin and curled in ways a mould would struggle with: each one twists as it rises and some fold right back over themselves, and the spaces between them are as much a part of the shape as the blades. The colour climbs from deep green near the base to white at the very tips, so the form seems to pale as it reaches up, like new growth. The black marble plinth is plain and square, so that all the movement belongs to the leaves.

At 130cm it brings the leaves to eye level for someone seated, which suits a lounge, a hotel suite or a reception area. Two make a fine pair at the sides of an entrance, and a pale wall behind them shows the white tips clearly. Its green and white sit naturally beside house plants or a garden view, and the black plinth holds its own against a dark floor.

Leaf Colour and the Plinth Below

Reckon on 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks for a bespoke one. The blades can be graded from another colour to white, blue, rose or gold, or made all white for a quieter piece, and the plinth can be white marble instead of black or made to another height. It is crated with the leaves boxed separately from the plinth, and setting it up means lifting the form onto its plinth, a job for two people working together. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Curling blades grading from green to white belong with our organic sculptures; a printed resin form on black stone suits our resin sculptures, and a matching pair to flank a doorway joins our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
