Description

The Wave Bench Natural Abstract Wood Sculpture at 220cm is a long horizontal bench-sculpture built from densely set vertical wood slats, finished in warm honey-amber tones with an undulating wave-form top edge. At 220cm in length, the slats rise and fall in soft repeating waves along the bench's spine, so the silhouette reads as a frozen ripple rather than a flat seat. The piece functions as both functional seating and freestanding horizontal sculpture, each slat hand-cut and threaded onto the internal spine to resolve cleanly from every angle.

A Bench Built From Waves

Each slat is hand-cut from solid wood, threaded onto the bench's internal spine and sanded smooth to a continuous honey surface. The wave silhouette is achieved entirely by varying the height of every slat across the 220cm length, so the form is sculpted by repetition. This 220cm slatted wave bench sculpture anchors long horizontal spaces: boutique hotel lobbies, museum and gallery corridors, designer showrooms, executive reception areas, and open-plan residential interiors. The natural honey palette pairs cleanly with concrete, raw stone, brushed steel, white plaster, and deep neutral upholstery. Indoor display only.

Production Time

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.

  • Sculptures under 50cm — shipped by air freight. Typical delivery 1–2 weeks after production is complete.
  • Sculptures 50cm and above — shipped by sea freight. Typical delivery 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
