Violet, Pink & Amber Pierced Cast Resin Stool - 45cm
Violet, Pink & Amber Pierced Cast Resin Stool - 45cm $4,32200
Description

Three colours run down this stool in turn: violet across the seat, a hot pink through the middle of the body and a clear amber in the legs. The form is heavy and soft-edged, with an oval opening pierced straight through it below the seat, and four squared legs stand at its corners. Every surface is polished to a high gloss.

Violet to Pink to Amber Down a Pierced Stool

The colour changes as it falls, and the changes are not ruled lines but soft bands that drift as they pass the opening. At the seat the violet is deep enough to look inky in the thick corners; further down it warms to pink, and in the legs the tint thins to a clear amber that lets the floor show through. The oval opening is cut cleanly through the mass, so looking through it you see the colour bands from inside as well as out. Material is thickest at the corners, so the bands gather there in darker seams.

At 45cm it sits as a stool at a low table or stands beside a chair as a small side table. Its colours suit a white or grey room, where they read at full strength, and light from a window behind it makes the amber legs glow. Keep it away from a dark wall, which swallows the violet. Indoor use only.

The Colour Order, the Opening and Delivery

Order a standard piece and it takes 3–4 weeks; order it bespoke and it takes 5–6. The order of the colours can be reversed, or the pink left out for violet straight into amber, and the opening can be cut round or squared instead of oval. Legs are squared as standard and can be rounded, and the gloss can be taken down to a satin. Being solid resin, it weighs more than it looks, and it ships crated on its own with the seat face protected. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Stools cast as sculpture are part of our art furniture; for more graded colour see our resin sculptures, and for pierced, rounded forms our organic sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
