A turquoise wave rolls up into a frothy breaking crest on one side, runs down through its trough and climbs the other side into a tall, smooth crest that tapers to a point and leans over at the tip. Two fine wires spring from the frothy crest and arch high over the water to the tall one, carrying eight gilded leaves between them, each clear of the water and of its neighbours. The turquoise deepens towards the foot, and the wave stands on black marble.
Two fine wires do all the work here. Both rise out of the frothy crest, climb well clear of the water and arch over to come down into the tall crest opposite, so each is held at both ends and carries its leaves along a long, even curve rather than out on a stub. The wire has to be stiff enough to keep that curve true and fine enough to disappear at two paces, and those pull opposite ways. Eight leaves are spaced along the pair so that none crowds another and none sits over the water, and each is turned at its own angle, so they catch the light one or two at a time rather than all together.
Its leaves ride high over both crests, so it should be met from below rather than looked down on. At 103cm it is happiest at floor level in a hall or a sitting room, or lifted slightly on a plinth, where the leaves read against the wall above and the wires all but vanish; on a tall console they come level with the eye and the wires become the subject, which is the wrong way round. Give it room on both sides, as the arch of leaves reaches out past the wave.
In the workshop a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. The leaves ride on the two arching wires rather than on the water, so nothing sits beneath any of them. The number of leaves is set at order and the turquoise can be taken to a blue. Silver in place of the gilding is offered, which suits a cooler room and reads quieter against the turquoise. It travels as two crates, the wave upright and the leaves boxed apart on their wires, and the wires are set into the body on site. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Eight gilded leaves arching on two wires between the crests of a turquoise wave take this piece to our metal sculptures, our organic sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
