On this cast resin sculpture two ribbed prongs rise from a single fluted foot and fork apart, a tall one sweeping high to one side and a short one reaching out to the other, on a small black marble base. The flutes of the foot crowd together at the fork, where the two are still one body, and run on up the tall prong as twisting ridges, while the short prong breaks into overlapping, feather-like layers. The turquoise runs pale through the whole body and gathers most strongly in the fluted foot, and the short prong clears almost to colourless at its point, so it seems to dissolve rather than end.
The fork is the most visible part of this piece, and it is where the two prongs part from one body. The transition is made gradual rather than sharp, so the foot's flutes can be followed up into the fork without a break: there they crowd together and divide between the two prongs, twisting into ridges that run the whole length of the tall one and opening into overlapping layers, like the feathers of a wing, along the short one. Because the line never breaks at the fork, the eye reads the whole thing as grown rather than joined. The two prongs are drawn to different lengths and set at different angles, so the fork is never symmetrical, and the piece reads differently from either side.
This is console and sideboard work, and it should be set where the fork is near eye level, since that is where the piece is doing its work. Give it clearance above: the prongs are the point and a shelf close over them cuts the gesture off. Light from behind and to one side runs along the ribs and separates the two prongs from each other, while front light merges them into a single pale form. A dark wall behind it does more for the clearing tip of the short prong than a light one, where it simply vanishes.
Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. How far the prongs diverge and how tall each rises are drawn per piece, so prongs drawn narrow and upright or wide and splayed both come from this design, and a three-pronged version is made. Tint is settled at order in this turquoise, a blue, an amber, a smoke or a colourless body, and the clearing towards the tips can be taken further or dropped for a solid colour. Marble is offered in black, white or grey. Take its weight at the foot and the fork together, never on a single prong. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two ribbed prongs forking from one fluted foot over black marble are placed with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
