Description

A framed circle holding a turquoise field that radiates from the middle in fine streaks. Dark blue forms stand across the lower half with pale bands breaking through beneath them, and a black rim runs right round the face. Its black marble base, set square beneath the frame, is included.

A Radiating Field Held in a Black Frame

The field inside the frame radiates from a single point in fine streaks, like colour running outward across a surface, while the dark blue forms sit low in the circle, split by paler bands. The colours are held within the resin, so the field has depth as well as pattern and changes a little as the light moves across it. The black rim works as a picture frame does, cutting the field off cleanly at the edge so that nothing spills beyond the circle and the face reads as one composed picture.

It is a wall-facing object even though it stands, so it wants a plain ground behind and a position it is met square from. At 55cm a console against a wall or a shelf at standing height suits it. The black rim does the work of a picture frame and cuts the field off cleanly, which means it survives a busy room better than most pieces here. Light from the front is right for once: the field is opaque and has nothing to gain from being lit through.

The Field, the Frame, and Delivery

Production takes approximately 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The colours are chosen at order, the rim made wider or in a pale finish, and the circle made at another diameter. The streaks can be drawn finer or bolder, and the dark forms set higher in the circle or left out. A rectangular frame is also made. It is sent in one flat case with the face protected and the stone packed beneath, and one person lifts it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
