A matt turquoise bud, drawn as overlapping sheets closing around a central teardrop that is never fully revealed. The colour runs deeper at the outer edges and pales toward the middle. It is supplied with a black slab and the black marble column that carries it, the stone veined finely in white.
An open flower is the weaker sculpture, and the reason is how quickly it is finished with. Open the sheets out and the silhouette becomes a star, the eye takes the whole arrangement in at a glance and there is nothing left to find. Closed, the sheets overlap and the piece holds one compact mass with a suggestion inside it, so the outline stays simple at a distance and the object only opens up when someone comes near enough to follow the overlaps. At standing height on a column that matters more than it would on a table, because the first reading happens across a room. The matt surface is the same decision: it keeps the silhouette clean where a gloss would break it with highlights.
At 133cm it is a floor object met at about chest height, and it wants to be walked up to rather than tucked away: an entrance, a wide landing, the open end of a room. Give it a plain wall behind, since the whole piece at a distance is its outline. It is matt and takes light without returning any, which makes it unusually forgiving of a dim position and unusually dependent on a pale ground.
Give it 3–4 weeks as a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks as a bespoke commission. The turquoise is deepened or lifted toward white, the sheets are drawn opening rather than closed, and the bud is cast at other sizes. The column is offered at other heights, and a short stand is made for a tabletop version of the same bud. A polished finish is also built and is a brighter, busier object that gives up the clean silhouette. It travels in two crates, the column braced upright and the bud packed in a cut bed with the slab flat, and two people handle the column. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A bud closed rather than open is organic sculpture; the matt turquoise is resin sculpture; and a piece at standing height is indoor sculpture.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
