Turquoise Leaning Arch Wave Resin Sculpture - 90cm $2,36300
Description

This arch of turquoise resin climbs from a deep teal foot in one broad band, leans over at the top and comes down the far side as a cluster of hanging fingers, which stop just short of the sprays rising to meet them, so the loop is never quite closed. Inside it a smaller curl of spray reaches in from the foot. The colour runs from teal through clear turquoise to nothing at all: the crown and its fingers are water-clear. It stands on a black marble block.

Turquoise That Clears Before the Crown

The colour does the drawing on this piece. Turquoise is densest where the water gathers at the foot, a deep teal that reads almost solid, and it thins steadily up the climbing band until, somewhere past the shoulder of the arch, there is none left. Everything after that point, the crown, its fall of fingers and the gap they leave, is clear resin, so the top of the loop seems to dissolve into the air rather than end. The sprays rising from the foot keep a little turquoise low down and lose it towards their tips, repeating the main band in miniature.

Measured with its block, it stands 90cm tall, right for a sideboard or a hall console with a plain wall behind it, where a quiet background lets the colourless crown show. Its depth is slight and it needs very little surface, though the open loop wants a clear background, with nothing poking into it from behind. Window light from one side lifts the turquoise in the foot and makes the clear crown sparkle.

Turquoise Depth, the Open Loop and Delivery

Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. One arch is sold, standing on its block of black marble. On commission the turquoise can be pushed deeper towards green or kept paler, carried further round the arch or stopped sooner, and the gap beneath the crown drawn wider or narrower; the lean can be eased so it stands more upright. It is crated upright, the hanging fingers sleeved and the marble packed separately, and the arch is seated on its block once unpacked. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
