A solid turquoise mass, its broad faces of unequal size rippling into one another through soft ridges and shallow dimples, rising to a rounded crest toward one end, with one side cut flat to stand on. The turquoise reads deepest along the edges and over the crest and pales across the broad middle of the face. Nothing is supplied under it.
A solid body is the one shape in this material where what happens several centimetres in matters more than the surface does. The faces meet at angles that never repeat, so each one takes light into the body differently and no two positions give the same reading. The colour gathers at the rim of every face and thins toward its centre, so the outline is drawn in the strongest turquoise. The faces are polished all over, so the rippled surface is smooth under the hand.
Put it on a low table or a broad shelf, close enough to be looked into rather than at. A pale wall lets the turquoise carry; a dark one turns the whole thing to a silhouette. Light falling across the faces lifts the pale middle of each one, while the edges keep their deeper turquoise. The colour carries and the faceting does not, so this is a piece you come over to look at.
The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. Fewer faces are cut and each is made broader, the turquoise is run toward green, and the flat underside is left unpolished. Cut fewer faces and each one takes more of the surface, because the outline of the mass does not change with them. It travels in a crate fitted to its outline, and it is lifted out with a hand flat beneath each end of the underside, never by the crest. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Rippled into broad faces and edged in its deepest turquoise, this solid mass joins our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
