Turquoise & Emerald Swirl Petal Resin Swivel Chair - 80cm, a petal-shaped resin chair in blue-green swirls on a chrome swivel base, shown on a plain white background.
Turquoise & Emerald Swirl Petal Resin Swivel Chair - 80cm $3,57900
Description

One side of the shell is turquoise and the other emerald, and the two meet in a soft blend down the centre of the back. Through both run dark green threads that thicken into a tangle in the seat. The lip is darkest, a cobalt blue below the turquoise side and a deep teal below the green. Both arms finish in a point turned outward, the crest stands up between the shoulders, and a chrome column with a height lever lifts it over a mirrored disc.

Turquoise Meeting Emerald Across a Petal Shell

Two colours share this casting without a hard boundary between them. On the left the resin is a sky-bright turquoise; on the right it turns a cooler, leafier emerald; across the middle of the back they overlap into sea tones. Dark green filaments, almost black in their densest knots, weave through both halves and collect low in the seat, drawing the eye down into it. Where the shell thickens at its edge, the turquoise deepens into cobalt and the emerald into teal, and that dark border holds the two halves together as one form.

Its crest stands 80cm from the floor, and the lever lets the seat meet any desk at the right height. Strong enough to carry a white room on its own, it also works beside brass, green velvet and dark timber. Daylight from behind sharpens the place where turquoise gives way to emerald. Indoor use only.

The Colour Split, the Lever Stem and Delivery

Making a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks, and making a bespoke one 5–6. The balance can be shifted at order, giving more turquoise or more emerald, or the split turned so that the colours divide front to back. A fixed column can replace the gas-lift stem, in chrome, black or brass. Seat height and the size of the shell can be set to suit the person who will use it. Shell and pedestal come in two crates of their own and are screwed together wherever the chair is going to live. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Two-tone turquoise and emerald seating appears in our art furniture; the gas-lift column ties in with our metal sculptures, and the flower outline with our organic sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
