The Traditional Winged Dragon Bronze Fountain stands 150cm tall, a commanding water feature cast in full bronze with wings spread wide and head lowered toward the viewer, mouth open as a live jet of water streams forward from the cast piece.
Cast using the traditional lost-wax method, this bronze dragon fountain carries a dual-tone patina that develops character across its surface: a deep near-black finish coats the dragon body, while the integral rocky boulder base shows the green verdigris oxidation that emerges naturally on exposed bronze over time. The hand-finished bronze fountain sculpture is detailed with heavily textured scale work across the body, dorsal spine ridges running from neck to tail, and clawed feet gripping the rock. The bat-like wings are fully spread upward and outward, giving the piece an immediate sense of arrested motion rather than static decoration. Internal fountain plumbing is housed within the integral cast base, making this a fully functional water feature as well as a sculptural centrepiece.
Designed for outdoor settings, this piece suits stone-flagged courtyards, formal garden terraces, koi pond surrounds, and landscaped estates where a focal point of genuine scale is required. The dark bronze and verdigris palette works against natural stone, aged brick, and dense evergreen planting. At 120kg, installation requires a prepared base and professional placement.
Patina options include the standard dark bronze with verdigris base, full natural bronze, and aged verde. Scale adjustments are available on request, as are bespoke commissions. Contact us before ordering to discuss specifications, fountain plumbing requirements, or site-specific considerations.
