Traditional Church Bell Bronze Sculpture by Giant Sculptures, 100cm cast bronze bell with relief frieze, Latin inscriptions, and metal yoke on a plain background.
Traditional Church Bell Bronze Sculpture - 100cm $139,42800
Description

The Traditional Church Bell Bronze Sculpture stands 100cm tall, presenting the full commanding profile of a classical church bell: a pronounced flared skirt, a firm shoulder, and a surface that carries centuries of ecclesiastical craft tradition into contemporary ownership.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

This solid cast bronze bell is produced using the lost-wax casting process, allowing the fine decorative detail to transfer faithfully from model to metal. Encircling the shoulder is a continuous horizontal relief frieze band carrying figurative and architectural motifs; below it, two raised Latin inscription bands wrap the body, their lettering sharp and legible against the warm golden-brass surface. The finish is a smooth matte-satin, with a warm tonal depth that reads equally well under natural daylight and artificial gallery lighting. As the piece weathers outdoors, the bronze will develop a natural patina that deepens the relief detail over time, a characteristic prized in architectural and heritage bronze castings.

At 350kg, this is a substantial commission-grade piece suited to formal exterior settings: estate entrances, chapel grounds, walled gardens, institutional forecourts, and monumental outdoor installations. Its scale and acoustic presence make it a natural centrepiece for any space that demands authority and permanence. The wooden mounting beam and metal yoke hardware are integral to the classical presentation and allow the bell to be properly suspended for functional or purely decorative use.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

Patina options include natural warm brass, traditional verdigris, dark antiqued brown, and blackened gunmetal. The scale can be adjusted to suit your site requirements, and inscription text can be replaced with custom Latin, English, or phonetic lettering at your specification. For institutional clients or those seeking a piece inspired by the work of historical bell-foundry traditions, our team is available to develop a fully bespoke brief. Contact us before ordering to discuss your requirements.

Delivery to Your Address
