The Torii Gate Abstract Wood Sculpture at 45cm is a scale architectural model of a Japanese-style torii gate hand-built from pale natural wood, with a curving double-eave roof, tiled gold-finished roof line, and an elaborate criss-cross grid of golden vertical rods filling the space between the supporting columns. At 45cm tall, the structure presents a graceful upturned roof, finely modelled tiles in a soft champagne tone, two clean wood pillars, and a dense lattice of fine gold rods that catch light across the gate's central void. The pale wood is finished raw to preserve its natural blonde grain. Each gate is hand-built individually.
Our artisans hand-cut every roof beam, tile, eave, column and rod from solid wood and fine metal, assembling the gate with the architectural fidelity of a true torii in miniature. The wood is sealed raw to keep its natural blonde tone, while the roof tiles and lattice rods are finished in soft gold to glow under directional light. This 45cm torii gate sculpture works as a tabletop or console statement in interiors that welcome a contemplative, culturally rich focal point: designer studies, wellness studios, boutique hotel reception desks, gallery-style residential rooms, and creative agency reception areas. The natural wood and gold palette pairs cleanly with brushed brass, oak, off-white plaster, raw linen, and warm directional lighting. Indoor display only.
All of our sculptures are fully customisable. Whether you require a different size, an alternative finish, or a bespoke colour, we can tailor this piece to suit your exact vision. Please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements.
