This is a cast resin sculpture made of two ribbed sheets, climbing from a common foot and opening away from each other on a plain black marble base. The left sheet is thrown out almost horizontally and carries its own weight well clear of the base; the right rises, turns and folds back over itself. Every surface is cut into close-set ribs that run with the sweep of the sheet they sit on. The material is teal at the foot and along the outer edges of the rising sheet and its curl, and it clears across the broad faces and the whole of the thrown-out sheet.
That thrown-out sheet is what the piece is about. It leaves the foot almost level and runs out into the room, clear and finely ribbed, so the eye follows it out and then has to come back to find where it began. The other sheet answers by going up instead of out, climbing and then curling back on itself above the foot. Where the two part, the foot reads as one body rather than as two sheets meeting. The ribs stand close together like thin fins and run with each sweep, and along the rising sheet the teal gathers at their outer edges, so the fold is traced in colour as much as in form.
At 110cm this is floor work and it needs a position with room on both sides of it: the end of a hall, a wide landing, a broad entrance or the space beside a full-height window. The horizontal reach is the thing to plan around, because that sheet is at hand height and it is out where people walk. Set it back from a doorway and out of a corridor. Light from behind and above is what suits it best, throwing the ribbing into relief and letting the teal deepen towards the foot; a light directly in front of it flattens both sheets into one plane and loses the space between them.
Every standard piece is made in 3–4 weeks, and every bespoke commission in 5–6. Reach, height and the balance between the two sheets are drawn per commission: the horizontal sheet can be held much closer to the body, or the whole design made at gallery scale. Colour is chosen at order: this teal, an amber that reads warmer in a dark hall, a smoke grey, or clear throughout. A pale stone will do in place of this black marble. The resin is lifted by its foot, with the thrown-out sheet steadied by a second person and never taken up by its tip. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two ribbed sheets parting from one teal foot, one of them thrown out sideways, are grouped with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
