Teal Triple Opening Curled Rock Resin Sculpture, 57cm, with a wave-like curling top and three round openings, set on a black marble base against a plain light background.
Teal Triple Opening Curled Rock Resin Sculpture - 57cm $2,09200
Description

An upright rock in clear teal, its head curling over to one side like a breaking wave, with three round openings falling down the centre, each one a little narrower than the one above it. The teal darkens at the foot and round the rims of the openings, and pales across the rippled faces. A black marble base is part of the piece.

Three Round Openings in a Teal Curl

The three openings are the one regular thing in an irregular rock, and in teal they become three small windows of pale light set in a darker body. Around them the rock is rippled and folded, every ridge polished, so the colour runs from almost clear on the crests to a deep sea tone in the hollows. The curling head gives the piece a direction, and the openings, stacked almost on one line, pull the eye down from it to the foot, where the teal is darkest.

On a desk or a study shelf at 57cm it is met close to, which suits its busy outline and the detail in its ripples. A bright, cool light keeps the teal clear; a warm lamp turns it toward green. It needs only a small footprint and looks best with nothing tall beside it, so that the curl of its head stands clear.

A Deeper Teal, and Delivery

Time separates the two: a bespoke commission takes 5–6 weeks, a standard piece 3–4. The teal can be taken deeper toward petrol or lighter toward aqua, and a band of a second colour can be set through the middle, as on the banded version. Its marble can be replaced with a pale stone. It travels in a foam bed cut to its outline, the marble packed apart, and it is held round the body, clear of the small points along its edge. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A curled teal rock with three round openings belongs with our abstract sculptures; windows of pale light stacked down a rippled body suit our indoor sculptures, and teal deepening in the hollows of a clear casting places it among our organic sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
