Eleven rough masses set one on another, each turned a little against the one beneath so the column never repeats a face, on a base cut square to the plan of the stack. Teal runs through every block at the same strength, so the stack has no graduation in it and reads as one quarry of material cut into eleven pieces. A black base comes with it.
Eleven separate blocks in one colour show the scale of this design by their count, which does the work a graduation would otherwise have to do. The break faces are what the design is about. A polished column of this height would return one highlight down its whole length; left rough, every block answers the light on its own account and the stack reads as eleven decisions rather than as one extrusion. Rough faces on a teal body means each block takes the light at its own angle, and the stack shows a different depth of colour at every step. The faces are left rough as the mould gives them and only the arrises are eased.
It suits a hall or a corner where the floor is the plinth, since the column is most of its own height. Any tone of wall will serve behind it. The stack is busy enough on its own account. Light from one side drops each block's shadow onto the next, and that is what lets the eleven be counted. It reads as one mass from across a room and resolves into separate blocks as you come nearer.
A standard piece takes 3–4 weeks to make, and a bespoke commission 5–6. The block count can be changed, the teal can be taken out for a colourless body, and the base can be given a round plan. Change the count and the height goes with it, since each block keeps its own proportion rather than being squeezed to hold the total. Base and column travel in one crate but packed apart, and the two are brought together only once the base is where it is staying. Two people to set the base down and two to lift the column onto it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Eleven rough teal blocks stacked into a column belong to our organic sculptures; one even teal through every block places it with our resin sculptures, and more for a hallway corner waits in our indoor sculptures.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
