A series of curls stacked one above another, each turning back across its neighbour with a gap left between them. Clear teal runs through every curl, the topmost as deep as those below it. From the side the curls close to a narrow ribbon; from the front they are a column. The plinth beneath is black marble, and the curls stand straight on it.
A column made of separate curls has to work as a rhythm, because nobody standing in front of a column this tall takes in the whole of it at once. What they get instead is the interval between one turn and the next. The gaps between the turns shorten as the column rises, so the eye travels faster the higher it goes and the whole thing reads as though it were still turning after you have stopped looking at it. Each curl hooks back over the one below and none of them touches, so every gap is a place the casting has to hold its own weight across. Polished over the whole surface, and the inner faces of the curls take as long as the outer ones.
A hall, an atrium or a stairwell, on the floor and clear of furniture. A plain ground, or the gaps between the curls fill up with whatever is behind and the form closes. A raking light picks the curls out one at a time; anything flat makes them a single mass. The curls read as a rising rhythm from a long way off, which is what a column of this height has to do.
Allow 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. More curls are set or fewer, the teal is deepened or graded, and the plinth is cut down beneath them. Set more curls and each is drawn tighter, because the casting has one height to divide between them. Two parts on one pallet: the plinth goes down first and the casting is lowered onto it afterwards. Two people, taken by the lowest two curls, and never by the top. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Teal curls climbing one above another belong to our organic sculptures; the curls hooking over one another join our resin sculptures, and a tall stair hall clear of furniture gives the rhythm room among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
