A crescent with one wide rosette at the head, tapering through a close-scaled body to a fine tail. One wide rosette at the head holds the palest teal in the piece, and the colour gathers again along the scaled tail. A clear block comes with it, meeting the crescent along the lowest run of its body, between the head and the turn.
Here the scaling stops by thinning away rather than by ending, which is why the head is one broad rosette and the tail a run of fine, overlapping scales laid along its length. The scales reduce in size continuously rather than in steps, which is what makes the taper read as growth instead of as a change of pattern partway along. The single wide rosette is formed at the same time as the rest, which is why it sits in the surface rather than on it. One polish over everything, so the change from a wide rosette to a close-scaled tail is a change of scale and not of finish.
A sideboard or a narrow console, with the head turned toward whoever comes in. Set against something plain, since the crescent is read as an outline before it is read as a surface. Light into the head rosette spreads across it like a single flower and leaves the tail dark. The head is what you see first from anywhere in the room, and the tail only resolves close to.
Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. The head rosette is made wider, the scales along the tail are drawn finer, and the teal is deepened through the turn. Widen the head and the tail lengthens to balance it, because the crescent is drawn as one continuous taper. Block down first, then the crescent set into place by hand, carried under the widest part of the head and never by the fine tail. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A teal crescent running from one broad rosette to a fine scaled tail is part of our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
