A tall, slender column built from thin acrylic slices stacked one on another, each faced with an iridescent film and set a few degrees round from its neighbour beneath, so the whole stack twists as it climbs. It swells and narrows four times on its way up, widest a little below the middle, then rises to a narrow point at the top and draws in to a slender stem at its foot, which stands on a white box plinth that comes with the column and is made to order. Teal and blue run through most of it, with bands of violet, magenta and red where the slices turn through the swells, and a single yellow band near the tip.
An iridescent film changes colour with the angle at which it meets the eye, and the column is built to use that: because every slice is turned a little from its neighbour, no two show the film at quite the same angle, and the colour moves from slice to slice rather than lying flat across the piece. The swells repeat the effect at the scale of the whole column. Where the column widens the slices reach further out, and that is where the violet and red gather; where it narrows they are short and the teal runs almost unbroken. A few dark slices above the yellow band finish the point, so the column ends firmly rather than fading out.
At 120cm it comes to about chest height on an adult, so its swells and its colour are met almost at eye level, and it is best placed where it can be walked round: a hall, a landing or the middle of a room rather than against a wall. It needs light from one side more than from the front, so that the film's colours move as people pass, and a plain wall well behind it keeps its outline clear against the room.
Ordinarily a standard piece needs 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. Each commission sets the height, the number of swells and the film, so the same column can be made with a tighter twist, with its swells set further apart, or at a grander height, and the film chosen in a cooler or a warmer range of colour, from blues and violets alone to ambers and reds. Both hands go under the stack near its foot to lift it, never round the point or a swell, and it stays upright until it is set down on its plinth. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A teal column of turned, film-faced slices, it leads on to our geometric sculptures, our acrylic sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
