Description

A tall mountain in teal resin that clears toward its foot, the colour densest in the summit and the upper faces and thinning to glassy transparency at the foot, with flakes of gold leaf scattered all through it. A broad shoulder comes forward below the peak, its fine steps catching the light along their edges.

Teal Thinning to Clear Through Gold Flecks

Colour graded from the top down changes how a tall mountain reads. Dense teal at the summit gives the peak weight and distance, like shadowed rock seen against the sky, and the clearing toward the foot makes the lower slopes seem nearer and lit. The gold leaf is laid through the whole body, so in the teal it glints darkly and in the clear part it shines, and the same flakes look different at different heights. The faces are stepped finely, which suits a peak meant to be looked at closely.

It is a desk or shelf piece, compact enough for a bookcase or one end of a console, and its clear foot reads best against a dark surface. Daylight from behind, or a lamp at its shoulder, wakes the teal and the gold together. On a shelf of books its upright line answers the spines around it.

Teal Grading, Silver Leaf, and Delivery

From order, a standard piece runs to 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission to 5–6. The teal can be carried further down or kept to the summit, pushed toward blue or softened to aqua, and the gold laid denser or sparser. The summit can be cut sharper or rounded off at order. The flecks can also be laid in silver leaf instead of gold. It is boxed in padding, standing, and it lifts out with both hands under the foot. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
