Mountains cast in teal resin with gold leaf flecked through them, the colour darkest along the foot and lighter in the faces that catch the light. The tallest summit stands right of centre among a throng of minor peaks, and the ridge narrows to a point at the left end. It rests directly on its surface, unmounted.
A tinted body changes how gold leaf reads. In clear resin a flake is bright; under teal it turns green-gold and glows from inside the colour, as if seen through deep water. That is why the tint is kept translucent rather than dense: enough to colour the whole mass, little enough that the leaf still shows at every depth. The teal pools darker in the thick foot and thins in the faces of the peaks, so the range is shaded by its own material, and the polished surface keeps each face sharp.
It needs a shallow surface with length to it, ideally with daylight at one side. A console against a pale wall, a mantelpiece or a sideboard in a room lit from the side all work, and the teal deepens under warm evening lamps. Allow a hand's breadth beyond each end so the pointed ridge can finish cleanly.
Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The teal can be mixed deeper or clearer, the leaf can be omitted, leaving the teal alone, and the length is set to order. A blue or a green can be cast in place of the teal, and coarser leaf can be used so that each flake reads on its own. It arrives in a foam-lined crate with the pointed end boxed separately, and two people should handle the lift. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A teal range with gold suspended in it belongs with our organic sculptures; teal and gold together bring it into our resin sculptures, and green-gold depth under evening lamps suits our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
