Teal Frosted Triangular Loop Resin Sculpture (60cm) by Giant Sculptures, rounded triangular band on a black rectangular base, set against a plain white background.
Teal Frosted Triangular Loop Resin Sculpture - 60cm $2,08500
Description

A rounded triangle of frosted resin, the band bent to three rounded corners rather than four and stood upright on one of them, so the opening faces out into the room rather than up. The teal is brightest along the inner edge of the band around the opening and clouds to a smoky grey towards the foot, while the thin outer edge clears almost to colourless, most of all at the long, pointed corner. A black block is included beneath it.

Three Corners, Not Four

Frosting a closed loop all over is what makes the material read as solid. A polished clear form of this section returns so much of the room through itself that the near and far walls of the loop become hard to separate, and a triangular opening is exactly where that confusion is worst. Frosted, each wall carries its own light and the opening is unambiguous. The teal then gathers along the inner edge of the band and fades towards its thin outer edge, so the frost is not hiding the colour but giving it somewhere to be seen against.

A shelf, a console or a low table suits it, and it should have a view behind it rather than a flat wall. A frosted body takes light from any direction, so it is an easy piece to place. It meets its block at a single corner, which keeps the rest of the loop lifted clear of the surface. Three corners rather than four is what makes this a drawn form: a square loop presents as a frame, and a triangular one presents as something that has been bent.

The Frost, the Teal, and Delivery

Ordinarily a standard piece needs 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. The teal is taken toward green or toward blue, the frost is polished off one face, and the three corners are drawn to a sharper turn. Span is specified at the order, and the corners keep the same turn at any span. Polishing one face clear and leaving the rest frosted turns the loop into two different objects seen from the two sides. The loop can also be bent to four corners, which makes a much more formal thing. It travels in one box with its block, and the loop is lifted by its broad inner band, never by the thin outer edge. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A frosted teal loop of three rounded corners, stood upright on one of them, is listed with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
