Teal Cloud Swirl Split Disc Resin Sculpture, 36cm, with clear U-shaped top halves and teal blue base swirling with white cloud-like patterns, on a plain white background.
Teal Cloud Swirl Split Disc Resin Sculpture - 36cm $2,16000
Description

A round disc of resin, cut from the top by a deep U-shaped slot, so two halves rise apart from one solid body. The halves are left clear, while the body beneath them fills with a teal blue that deepens steadily towards the foot. Through it billow soft white clouds, swirling and trailing like ink let fall into water, some drifting up into the clear halves.

White Clouds Billowing Through Teal

The teal is graded from top to bottom: clear in the upper halves, it gathers just beneath the slot and darkens through the body to a deep petrol shade at the foot, where it is at its darkest. The white clouds give the colour movement, rolling through it in soft, layered plumes and fine trailing threads, densest in the body and thinning as they rise. Every face is polished, and the flat sides of the disc show the clouds in depth, as if looking into a tank of moving water. No two discs carry the same swirl.

There is room for it on a bedside table or a desk, or among books on a shelf, and it is best placed where daylight can reach it from behind, so the teal glows and the white clouds stand out against it. On a windowsill its colours shift from morning to evening as the light comes round. White paintwork behind it sharpens the outline of the clear halves. Indoor use only.

Teal Depth, Cloud Density and Delivery

Ordinarily a standard piece needs 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. As a commission the teal can be taken paler or darker, or replaced by another tint, and the white clouds can be thickened into a dense fog or kept to a few wisps. The slot can be widened or narrowed, and another diameter can be chosen for the disc. It is boxed with foam supporting the foot and both halves, and it should be lifted from below rather than by the halves. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Teal resin clouded with white swirls in a split round form joins our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
