Teal Arched Arm Splash Cast Resin Sculpture - 55cm, wave-form with arched band and looping stem rising from a splash base, teal to glassy blue-green, plain white background.
Teal Arched Arm Splash Cast Resin Sculpture - 55cm $2,16600
Description

Teal is strongest in the band of this cast resin splash and fades in the bowl beneath to a light, glassy blue-green. A broad wall of water climbs from the left rim and bends over the top as a band pierced with long, narrow openings, then draws together into an upright stem with a little round hole near its base. The stem ends in a two-pronged spike and swings a fine loop away to the right, a small point standing on its crest, and lower down an arm stretches out of the bowl towards a spray of tiny points. Within the bowl, spray stands in fingers of differing heights beneath a lattice of fine threads.

Deep Teal Drawn High Across an Arching Band

The colour sits high in this piece rather than low. The teal is at its densest in the band that arches over the bowl, in the stem and in the two-pronged spike, so the darkest line of the splash is drawn in mid-air, while the bowl beneath keeps only a light blue-green cast. That paler water lets the fingers standing in the bowl and the threads between them be read through one another, and it sets the deep band off against the open space below it. Every surface is polished, so the long openings in the band and the small round hole low on the stem show as bright outlines against the teal.

Its 55cm suits a writing table, a lamp table or a deep windowsill, bringing the band and the loop level with the eye of someone sitting close by. Light falling across it from one side brings the teal up richest along the band, and against an unpatterned pale wall the slender loop and the two-pronged spike keep their outline. Leave a little room on the right for the low arm and its points. Indoor use only.

Teal Depth, the Low Arm and Lifting It

Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. One splash is supplied, tinted teal from the spike down to the bowl. On commission the teal can be mixed darker or kept lighter, or carried down into the bowl so the whole splash takes one even colour, and the low arm can be drawn out further from the bowl. To move it, take the bowl with a hand under either side, keeping clear of the loop, the spike and the low arm, which are slender and catch easily, and set it down on a level surface. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Teal drawn high across an arching band, above a pale bowl of spray, places this splash in our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.

Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
