A frosted resin scoop: a deep bowl whose back wall rises into a sheet that turns over at the top into a flat, curled lip, set on a black block. The teal runs along the upper edge, clears through the middle of the sheet and deepens to a violet in the floor of the bowl, so the colour changes continuously and nothing marks where one part becomes the other.
Grading the colour rather than banding it changes what the turn has to do. Nothing stops the eye at the bowl: the colour runs continuously, teal along the upper edge, clearing through the middle of the sheet and deepening to purple in the floor, so there is nothing to mark where the sheet becomes the bowl. That is harder to cast and easier to look at. The grade has to be set so the palest part falls exactly where the sheet is most open, because a grade and a form that change along the same run can cancel: pale where the light already comes through reads as light, and dark in the same place reads as a fault.
At 53cm the scoop belongs on a console or a long sideboard, and square on, the sweep of the sheet and the depth of the bowl are both in view. Seen from either end the two shut against each other. It asks for light from behind or from one side: the pale middle of the grade is pale because the material is open there, and a frontal light bounces off the face before it can get through.
Every standard piece is made in 3–4 weeks, and every bespoke commission in 5–6. The purple is deepened or taken out of the bowl, the sheet is drawn up further above the rim, and the block is cut at other heights. The casting is also made at other spans against the same block, and the frost can be polished off instead, which sharpens the colour and lays reflections across the grade. The base is boxed away from the casting, and the casting is taken by the bowl and never by the sheet. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
One continuous turn is organic sculpture; the grade sits in the casting as resin sculpture; and a piece read through wants indoor sculpture light.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
