Every part of this splash carries a soft steel blue, bowl and arm alike, right up to the point of the spike. The bowl breaks into a crown of tall, uneven points, a low spray stretches away on one flank and opens into fingers, and on the opposite flank a wide curve of water lifts clear of the rim and folds over into the arm. That arm crosses above the bowl, framing an oval gap, then climbs, loops back over itself and finishes high above the water in a slender spike with a short horn beside it.
With the tint run right through, nothing on this splash is left water-clear, and the colour becomes what holds it together. The bowl, the curve that lifts from it and the looping arm all share one cool, greyed blue, a little stronger where the resin gathers thickly at the foot and in the folds, a little softer where it thins along the arm and the spike. The eye follows the colour up out of the bowl and round the loop without a break, so the turn back over the water reads as one continuous movement from foot to tip.
Standing 65cm, it suits a console or a dresser where it can be met face on at about chest height, since from the side the loop folds against the bowl. The greyed blue is quiet, so it sits comfortably against white, stone or soft grey walls and beside pale timber, and daylight falling across it from the side catches the folds of the bowl and the twist of the arm. Keep it apart from a crowded run of objects so that its outline stays clear.
Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. The price is for one splash, sold singly. On commission the steel blue can be taken deeper or paler, or held in the bowl with the arm left clear, and the arm can be drawn up further over the water or kept close to it. It travels in a fitted case, the loop sleeved from end to end and the rim's points padded; unpack it by taking hold of the bowl, never the arm. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A steel blue splash whose single arm loops back over its own bowl joins our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
