Smoky brown, the colour of strong tea, settles at the root of this wave, where it gathers into darker swirls within the resin. From that root, perched on black marble, the water bends away to one side, curls back across in a lipped ribbon dotted with drops, and climbs again to finish in a crest split into slim, bead-tipped jets. A clutch of rounded drops pushes up close to the stone, and a short tongue of water curls out beside them. The tint thins steadily as the wave climbs, so the middle reads as smoky glass and the jets at the top are clear.
Smoke tints carry texture as well as colour. Near the marble, where the tint is deepest, the brown runs in darker drifts and swirls, like tea leaves settling, and shows amber glints wherever it thins over a ridge. Higher up it becomes an even, smoky transparency, and at the crest it is gone. The form is an S-shaped sweep modelled with long grooves that follow every bend, its edges studded with beads, and the whole piece is cast and polished to a high gloss so the smoky tone looks deep rather than dull.
Warm, dark materials suit a smoky tint: a walnut credenza, a leather-topped desk, a library shelf among books, or a hall console in front of a deep green or oxblood wall. Its full height with the base is 75cm, so it sits comfortably on a desk or a credenza and meets a seated reader's gaze. Lamplight brings out the amber glints in the brown, and brass or bronze fittings nearby echo them. Indoor use only.
Where the piece is standard the build is 3–4 weeks, and where it is bespoke 5–6. Your order brings one brown wave and its black marble, sold individually. Bespoke, the smoke can be made denser so that the swirls at the root turn almost black, or lighter so the whole body reads as pale tea, and the colour can stop well short of the crest or run on to the tips of the jets; a different stone can take the place of the marble. It is boxed with the jets wrapped individually and the base packed apart, then stood on the base once out of its packing. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Strong tea brown swirling at the root and fading through an S-shaped sweep to clear jets lives among our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
