This spiral, cast in resin, is tinted a smoky amber, a warm colour with a brown, almost tea-like depth that darkens to brown-amber in the stem and lifts to a golden yellow in the paler passages of the fans. Three ribbed fans coil about a single stem. Seen from the side they show their edges: the fan that climbs at the back breaks into a run of serrated points, the broad wing narrows to a fine ribbed blade, and the tallest fan flares open at the top. It rests on a black marble block.
Viewed side-on, this spiral becomes a drawing of edges rather than faces. The climbing fan, whose surface is a net of crossed ribs, turns its scalloped margin outward as a row of sharp points, and the broad wing, edge-on, becomes a slim blade lined with fine grooves. The smoky amber gives those edges weight: it collects in the stem as a dark brown-amber and in the flare of the tallest fan, and leaves the middle of the spiral clear, almost colourless, so the outline is drawn in warm tones while the centre stays open.
At 63cm, block and all, it looks at ease on a sideboard or a reception desk, where warm amber settles easily against walnut, oak and leather. A cream or warm white wall lets the golden passages glow, and an evening lamp beside it deepens the brown of the stem. Turn it so the serrated edge faces the room, or so the broad wing does; each gives a different piece. Indoor use only.
Most pieces are standard and take 3–4 weeks; a bespoke commission takes 5–6. On commission the amber can be made warmer and clearer, towards honey, or smokier still, and the tint can be pushed further into the fans or held back to the stem. The black marble base can be cut instead in white or grey stone. It is carried by the base, the stem upright and steadied by a second hand, and never by the serrated edge or the tall fan. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Warm smoky amber in a fan-edged spiral leads naturally to our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
