A round low table in two materials. Its top is a heavy disc of smoked grey resin, rippled over its entire upper face in fine, close ridges that run across it in loose parallel waves, so that no part of it looks flat. Below it stands a brass drum, narrower than the disc so the top overhangs all round, and fluted vertically in narrow bands from its base to its head. The brass is a warm satin rather than a mirror.
The two halves of this table are set against each other on purpose. The top is all movement: ripples of varying width and depth running in loose waves across the disc, catching the light in short bright arcs, with no repeat anywhere in it. The base is all order: a close ring of identical vertical flutes running the full height of the drum, each one holding a straight highlight from top to bottom. Because the smoked top overhangs and stays transparent, the brass shows through the disc at the perimeter as a dimmed warm ring, and the ripples break that ring into a hundred short pieces, which is the one place the two systems meet. The brass is satin, so it gives a soft even glow rather than reflections, and it keeps its warmth in cool light. Seen from a standing position the ripples read as a texture; from a seated one they read as individual forms.
This is a coffee table, and a large round one, so it suits a seating group arranged all the way round rather than an L. The top is level enough for anything, though a small object will find a hollow. The rippled face rewards a light overhead, which sets every ridge glinting at once; a single low window instead picks out one arc and leaves the rest quiet. The drum base takes no floor space beyond its own diameter, so chairs pull in close. On a dark rug the brass is the strongest thing on the piece. Indoors only.
Every standard piece is made in 3–4 weeks, and every bespoke commission in 5–6. The work splits between the top and the base. The ripple work is the first choice, from this fine close pattern to a bolder swell that reads from across a room, or a plain polished disc with no working at all. The metal is the second: this satin brass, a polished brass that turns the flutes into mirrors, a blackened steel, or a stainless that cools the whole piece down. And the flute count on the drum, which changes it from a fine pleat to a set of broad staves. Top diameter and base height are set separately. Top and base travel apart and bolt together on site with the key supplied. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Rippled smoked resin on a ring of brass flutes is part of our art furniture; the fluted drum suits our metal sculptures, and the water-like top our organic sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
