Smoked Brown & Clear Looping Arm Splash Cast Resin Sculpture, 72cm, with a brown textured base rising into a clear looped arm, shown on a plain white background.
Smoked Brown & Clear Looping Arm Splash Cast Resin Sculpture - 72cm $2,36300
Description

Smoked brown pools in the foot of this splash like strong tea, marbled with darker streaks, and rises with the spray into a ring of points that pale to a milky tone at their tips. One arm curves up out of the foot, turning golden as it climbs, then lets the colour go: the band it forms across the top, with two oval windows in it, and the hoop at the band's far end are clear as water. A stem and a cluster of slender arches link the points to the band, and a short spray juts out sideways, brown at its root and clear where it forks.

Smoked Brown in the Foot, Clear at the Crest

Here the colour does the drawing. The brown is graded within the resin itself, heavy and dense in the spreading foot and given up bit by bit as the form rises, so the piece reads like dark water settling at the bottom of a glass with clear water above it. In the foot and among the points the tone is deep and smoky, streaked like polished horn; on the arm it lifts to a warm gold; above the band there is none at all, and the hoop shows the wall behind through untinted resin. No line marks where the brown ends, and the finish is a high gloss from foot to tip.

Standing 72cm on its own foot, it makes a handsome presence on a study credenza or a dining-room sideboard, where the dark foot settles it against the wood and the clear hoop keeps the top airy. Walnut, oak and leather all suit its warm brown. A lamp to one side turns the foot amber while the top catches small, bright highlights. There is no base to come between piece and surface, so a marble or oak top becomes part of how it reads. It is intended for indoor rooms.

Brown Depth, a Hoop Cut Open and the Journey

Ordinarily a standard piece needs 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. The brown can be ordered deeper and smokier in the foot, or lighter so the golden tone leads, and taken higher up the arm for more colour or held low for a clearer top. As a commission the hoop can be cut open where it rejoins the band. It is packed upright in a padded case with the hoop and its points cushioned on every side, and on arrival it comes out by the brown foot, never by the arm. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Smoked brown spray clearing into a water-clear hoop joins our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
