Dark grey veins cloud the smoke grey resin of this wide ring, like marbling in a stone. Its circle is interrupted, and both broken ends are encrusted with rough gold leaf that glints like ore in a rock face, as though the ring had been split from a seam of gold. It comes with the black marble block beneath it.
The gold leaf is pressed by hand into the rough crust at each end and then sealed, so it keeps its glitter and catches light from any direction. Between the two ends the grey arc stays calm, its fine dark veins visible deep inside the polished resin. The contrast between the rough gold and the smooth grey is the whole design: one reads as raw ore, the other as worked and finished stone, and the eye travels between them, following the ring round from one end to the other.
With its base it reaches 60cm, a size made for a long dining room console, a library shelf or a broad bookcase. Grey and gold sit well in a classic interior of dark timber and brass as well as in a pared-back modern room. Angle a lamp onto the gold ends and they will glitter in the evening.
Order a standard piece and it takes 3–4 weeks; order it bespoke and it takes 5–6. The leaf is also offered in silver or copper, and the grey can be taken darker toward black or lighter until it is almost clear, which sharpens the gold. How wide the break is can be chosen at order. It is shipped flat in a padded crate, the break cushioned and the marble in a wrapping of its own, and two people should take it from the crate. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A grey ring split from a seam of gold belongs with our organic sculptures; smoke grey resin with dark veining leads to our resin sculptures, and a gilded accent for a library shelf joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
