Smoke Brown Mountain & Reflection Resin Sculpture, 85cm, with brown-veined clear resin peaks and pierced openings on a black marble base, shown against a plain background.
Smoke Brown Mountain & Reflection Resin Sculpture - 85cm $2,36300
Description

Brown ink clouds the clear resin of this range and its reflection, darkest along the summits and paling to clear in the middle, so the whole form looks weathered. Beneath the line of the water each peak is blunted, and two openings pierce the centre. It is set on black marble, which comes with it.

Brown Smoke Drifting Through Clear Peaks

Brown ink in clear resin reads like smoke or old weather, and it gives this mountain-and-water form the mood of a storm passing over a lake. The ink is heaviest along the summits and in the tips of the reflection and fades in the open centre, so the darkest tones frame the openings and the clear resin between them reads as a break in the cloud. The reflected peaks are drawn soft and uneven against the sharp ones above, and the polish keeps every streak crisp.

Its browns sit comfortably with leather, timber and warm stone, so a study or a dining room suits it, on a credenza high enough that the waterline is met level. A pale wall behind lets the clear passages show; against a dark wall the smoke and the openings merge into one. A lamp at one end warms the brown.

How Heavy the Smoke Sits, and Shipping

The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. Heavier ink makes a stormier piece and lighter ink a misty one, black or blue can take the place of the brown, and the gaps can be widened. A frosted finish softens the smoke into a pale fog, and the peaks can carry more ink than the reflection. Another size of stone block is available. The casting and its marble come in two crates and meet on site, where the range is fitted to the stone by two people. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A range clouded with brown ink belongs with our organic sculptures; smoke drifting through clear resin sets it beside our resin sculptures, and a storm over water beside warm timber suits our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
