This cast resin sculpture is clear through most of its body, shaded smoke grey along its edges and a dark teal in the stem that carries it. Two ribbed sheets branch from that stem above a black marble block. One spreads sideways into a wide fan whose nearest edge rolls under; the other rises behind, its margin cut into a run of spikes, until it opens into a tall funnel at the top with a hooded curl folded back next to it. Grey gathers along the rim of the funnel, the rolled edge and the spikes, so the outline looks drawn in graphite.
The palette here is close to monochrome, and that changes how the ribs read. With no strong colour in the body, every rib shows as a crisp silver line, and the smoke at the margins traces the whole silhouette the way a pencil would. The teal is held low: it sits dark and dense in the stem, rises a short way into the fan's ribs and then gives way to clear resin, so the only real colour in the piece is the root it grows from. The effect is cool and architectural, a sculpture about contour more than tint.
At 76cm on its black block it is right for a credenza, a hallway console or the end of a long sideboard, at home with concrete, oak, slate and chrome. Its greys belong in a monochrome scheme and give a cool counterpoint to warm timber. A lamp to one side makes the ribs glint silver; set it a little forward of a plain wall so that the outline, which carries most of the effect, is not lost against a busy background.
From order, a standard piece runs to 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission to 5–6. To order, the smoke can be deepened until the body reads as dark glass, or left out so that only the teal stem carries colour, and the black block can give way to a grey or a white stone. A bespoke tint for the stem is also possible. Because the spikes along one edge are fine, it is moved by the block and the stem together, kept upright, and set down without being slid across a surface. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Smoke-grey edges drawn round a clear body, rooted in dark teal, carry this cast piece into our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
