Sky blue and frosted at every tip, this wave rises out of its trough in an S, with a separate spray lifting beside the trough and the body leaning out, turning back and folding over at the crest. Thin silver wires loop wide from the spray, cross back over the body and come round to form a ring off the crest's open side, with seven gilded leaves spaced along it. Its colour is richest down at the foot and pales as the wave climbs, and a marble base carries it.
A cool sky blue suits a form this full of movement, because it keeps the eye on the shape rather than on the colour. The tint pools deepest in the trough, where the water is heaviest, and lightens through the long climbing body until, at the crest and in the spray, the blue turns to frosted white. The silver wires are kept thin enough to all but disappear, so the leaves seem to float beside the crest, and each is set at a slightly different tilt, so the ring sparkles unevenly as you move round it.
On its marble base it reaches 87cm and suits a deep console or a hall sideboard, where the ring of leaves meets the eye as people pass. A deep-toned wall, navy or slate, makes the sky blue and the gilding stand out, and soft light from a window to one side lifts the frost at the tips. It needs a little room around it, since the wires reach out on both sides. Indoor use only.
Most pieces are standard and take 3–4 weeks; a bespoke commission takes 5–6. The order is for a single wave on its marble base, sold on its own. Commissioned, the sky blue can be taken deeper or paler, the frost at the tips made heavier, the ring of leaves opened out or drawn in, and the gilding changed for silver, with a different stone for the base if preferred. A fitted crate carries it, its wires braced against movement and its leaves sleeved singly, the base boxed apart, and the wave goes onto its base once both are unpacked. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Sky-blue water rising past a circle of gilt leaves on thin silver wire has company in our metal sculptures, our organic sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
