Pale sky blue tints this cast resin sculpture, raised on its own black marble block. From a narrow stem it divides into two ribbed sheets: a broad fan that swings out to one side with a rolled lip at its near end, and a second sheet that climbs behind it, notched into points along one edge, opening into a tall flared cone and bending back into a little scroll beside it. The blue is strongest in the stem, a saturated cobalt, and pales as it climbs until the middle lobes and the fan's tips are nearly clear.
Colour and line do separate work here. The fine reeding runs along each sheet in parallel, catching a thread of light on every ridge, while the tint does the climbing: dense cobalt where the sheets leave the stem, then a softer and softer blue through the fan, until the middle reads nearly colourless. At the top the colour comes back in the cone and the scroll as a clear aqua blue against that pale centre, so the eye travels from a dark root through a light waist to a tinted crown. Seen against a window, the pale middle almost disappears and the two blues seem to float apart.
Measured with its marble, the piece reaches 76cm, which makes it console or sideboard work in a bright room where daylight falls on it from one side. Pale blue is at its best beside white plaster, limestone or a soft grey, and a window behind it turns the centre almost to glass. Keep other objects back from the fan's reach so its outline stays clear, and let it face into the room rather than into a corner, since the stem and the cone are only read together from the front.
Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. Made to order, the whole body can take a deeper blue or stay paler still, and the block can be cut from a paler or grey marble instead of the black. We can match the tint to a fabric or paint sample. The fan and the scroll are the most exposed parts, so it is carried upright with one hand under the block and the other steadying the stem, and never lifted by the fan. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A cobalt root paling to sky blue through two ribbed sheets ties this resin piece to our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
