Clear sky blue resin is drawn out into a craggy ridge, a line of crags and hollows climbing to one high peak just short of the middle. At one end the ridge thins and curls up into a slender tip; at the other it gathers into a lobed, rounded knot. Every face is combed with swirling grooves, and the blue grows fuller in the folds and through the knotted end, where the resin is thick. Four short legs, cast in the same resin, hold it up above a black marble bar that reaches a little past it at each end and comes included.
The ridge is modelled so that its colour follows its thickness. Where the resin thins, at the tip, along the crests and round the hollows, the blue is pale and clear enough to look through; where it gathers, in the main peak and the knotted end, it settles into a fuller sky blue. The grooves sweep across every face in long, curving strokes, each catching its own thread of highlight, so no part of the ridge shows a flat, dead surface. The four legs are the same clear blue as the crags, two of them set close together under the high ground and one under each end, so each rise appears to stand on its own feet.
It wants a long surface to itself, such as a credenza or a sideboard, with room left at both ends, and it should be looked at along its length so the crags read as a skyline. Plain, light paintwork behind keeps that skyline crisp, and a window to one side makes the thin crests and the curled tip shine. A hallway, a dining room or an office suits it as well as a sitting room, where it brings a cool, quiet note. Indoor use only.
Ordinarily a standard piece needs 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. Made to order, the sky blue can go deeper towards cobalt or fade to a faint tint, the combing can be worked more deeply or eased back, and three or five legs fitted in place of four. A different length can be made as well, with its skyline of crags worked out again to fit, and a white marble bar can replace the black one. In its crate every crag and leg is cushioned and the marble bar travels boxed apart; to move it, hold the body from beneath, never a crag, the tip or a leg. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A sky blue ridge, curled at one end and knotted at the other, belongs among our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
