Description

A bright sky blue floods the bowl of this splash in cast resin and the ring of jagged points around it, and it spills a little way along the spray that reaches out to one side. Up the curving wall on the other side it pales quickly and is gone by halfway, so the twisted band, the arch that stands below it and the looping arm and its tips are clear, touched only by faint wisps of blue where the band begins.

Sky Blue at the Foot, Clear Overhead

A pale blue has to be judged closely: too much and it turns heavy, too little and it looks tired. Here it is generous in the bowl, where it reads as a pool of bright water, and it is allowed to fade fast up the wall so that the curling top of the wave is pure clear resin. The spray picks up the blue at its root and loses it before its fingers, and the crown points are blue at the base and bright at the tips, which gives the foot a sparkle rather than a solid ring of colour.

The blue at the foot gives it a settled base, so it can hold a broad surface on its own. At 81cm it sits comfortably on a credenza, or on a low plinth where it is met from the front, and the clear top rises into the room while the blue stays close to the surface. Pale walls, white oak and linen suit it, and a window nearby keeps the blue bright.

How High the Blue Runs, and the Crate

Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. At order the blue can be kept to the bowl alone or allowed to climb further up the wall, and it can be made a touch deeper or lighter. The loop, the tips and the spray's reach can all be adjusted, and the whole splash scales up or down for a grand room or a compact one. It is delivered in one crate lined with foam, its arm and loop braced, and comes out ready to stand: carry it by the blue bowl and never by the clear arm above. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
