The splash is transparent resin, deep blue where it gathers in its churned foot and clearing to colourless as its fingers curl outward and upward, several of them ending in small round beads. A drop of electroplated fibreglass, mirror-finished in a silver tone and drawn up from a rounded bulb into a long, straight stem, can be added as the With Droplet option, poised over the splash with its rounded tip meeting the spray at the centre.
The blue is laid deepest in the foot, where the water would be thickest, and let go as the splash rises, so its top and every finger on it run clear. The fingers are uneven on purpose, some flung out wide at a shallow angle and others rising and hooking over at their tips, so the outline changes as you walk round it. Where the drop is chosen, it is fibreglass electroplated to a mirror finish, so its colour comes from the plating and its surface gives back the room in long, curved highlights down the bulb and a single bright line up the stem. With it, the smooth, closed drop and the open, broken splash read as one moment: the instant the drop meets the water.
On its own the splash suits a console, a sideboard or a plinth in an entrance hall or a reception, where it can be looked down into and walked round. With the drop it needs headroom as well, and a plain wall behind it lets the stem stand clear. Pale paintwork shows the blue most clearly, and a spotlight from above lights the beads on the fingers and, with the drop, runs a bright line down the stem. Indoor use only.
Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. The splash is sold by itself, and the drop joins it only when the With Droplet option is chosen. On commission the drop can be given a gold-toned plating or another finish, and the blue can run darker or paler, give way to another colour or be left out for a colourless splash. Handle the drop by its bulb and never by the stem, and lift the splash from beneath its foot rather than by its fingers. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A beaded splash clearing from deep blue, with its mirror-finished drop as an option, joins our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
