Sea Green Curl & Branching Spray Resin Sculpture, 110cm, with a green curled base rising into clear branching spires, on a black square stand against a white background.
Sea Green Curl & Branching Spray Resin Sculpture - 110cm $3,37400
Description

This sea-green splash curls round at its foot into a ring of water, the colour dense there, and the end of the curl turns in to hang inside the ring as a rounded tongue. From the ring the water rises in tall, branching fingers pierced with round openings, spent of colour by the time they reach the top, so the green sits low and the spray above it runs clear. It stands on a broad, square black marble base.

A Green That Sits on the Blue Boundary

This green is not a leaf green and it is not a blue, and the point at which it stops being one and starts being the other is narrower than most people expect. A few degrees of hue either way and the piece reads as turquoise or as olive, neither of which is what it is for. There is no way to correct it after the fact, because the tint is carried inside the material and not applied to it. Here the green is held low, dense in the ring at the foot and in the tongue that hangs inside it, and it thins out through the branching spray until the highest fingers carry none of it.

The square base is nearly as broad as the splash above it, so measure for the stone. That also makes it a floor piece by default: very few surfaces take a base that size without looking crowded, and on the floor the broad stone reads as part of the composition rather than as something it was put on. At 110cm with its stone it sits well by a front door or at the foot of a stair, where people meet it as they walk past.

Taking It to a Blue, Cutting the Height, and Delivery

A standard piece takes 3–4 weeks to make, and a bespoke commission 5–6. The green sits at the point where green and blue stop being separable, so the tint has to be held exactly or it reads as the wrong colour. The green is taken to a blue or dropped altogether, the height is cut to order, and the stone is made in a pale marble. The ring at the foot is drawn wider or pulled in, which changes the proportion of colour to clear more than the tint itself does. It ships as two crates, the stone flat and the splash upright, and the splash is lowered onto the stone where it stands. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A sea-green that empties as it rises is organic sculpture; the tint sits in resin sculpture; and a broad stone foot is made for indoor sculpture.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
