Rust Brown Swirl Petal Resin Swivel Chair, 75cm, with petal-shaped shell on a chrome column base, set against a plain white background.
Rust Brown Swirl Petal Resin Swivel Chair - 75cm $3,78200
Description

Rust-brown colour clouds the whole of this shell, billowing up through the back and gathering more densely across the seat. The colour has the warmth of copper or strong tea, and the rolled lip darkens it to a deep brown edge. Its lobes end in two sharp arm tips, and it pivots on chrome: a column rising out of a polished disc.

Rust Clouds Billowing Through the Shell

Rust-brown hangs in the resin as soft clouds and smoky trails, heavy in some places and faint in others, which gives the shell depth rather than a flat tint. It is densest in the seat and where the back rises from it, and thins towards the crown, where the resin reads paler and catches more of the room's light. At the rolled lip it darkens to a brown close to coffee, outlining the lobes and the two arm tips. The chrome beneath brightens the whole chair and picks up a little of the copper in its polished disc.

Rust and chrome suit a loft, an industrial-style study, or a room with exposed brick, leather and dark timber. It makes a good desk or dressing table chair and a strong single seat on a landing. The column lets it turn without being lifted. Tile, timber or a dense rug will keep the disc flat. Indoor use only.

Cloud Depth, Base Finish and the Delivery Crates

Order a standard piece and it takes 3–4 weeks; order it bespoke and it takes 5–6. The rust clouds can be set lighter, leaving more of the resin clear, or heavier for a darker shell. Chrome is the finish here, and black or brass can be chosen instead. Every shell is inked by hand, so the clouds form differently each time. The shell and its stand are crated one apiece and joined once unpacked, with everything the job needs packed alongside. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Rust-clouded resin places this chair with our art furniture, the chrome stand with our metal sculptures, and its billowing petal form with our organic sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
