This stool is a tapering block of translucent pale rose resin, frosted to a coarse granular surface over its whole outside, carrying a small squared top in a copper-coloured hammered finish that dips slightly across its middle. The block is wider at the foot than under the top, so it reads as a wedge rather than as a column.
The frosting is worked over the whole outside to an even coarseness, which on a tapering form means the grade has to be held while the section changes - a patch worked finer reads as a bright area from across a room. The rose is in the material and pales where the block thins towards the top. The copper-coloured top is hammered by hand and dipped slightly across its middle, then set onto the block so its edges sit level all round. The base is faced flat and the stool stands without packing.
At 46cm this is seat height for an adult and the dipped top holds a sitter without sliding. The frosted rose reads warm in daylight and closes to grey under a cool lamp, so what lights the room decides the colour. The copper top is the only bright thing on it, which is why the block below is left frosted rather than polished.
Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. Most of it is the frosted grain. There are three open questions. The rose is taken to another tint, the frosting is worked finer, and the top is offered in a plain finish rather than hammered. Tell us the seat depth and the seat height. Once the order is placed as one, the coarseness of the frosting is carried through it. The copper top and the block corners go in wrapped, and the frosted faces are kept off the crate walls where a knock would show. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A hammered copper-coloured top over a frosted rose wedge gives our art furniture a stool; the tapering block suits our organic sculptures, its rose body our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
