The 160cm Rising Stallion White Wood Horse Sculpture on its standard flat black base, showing the layered white wood slab construction and raised foreleg from the side.
Rising Stallion White Wood Horse Sculpture - 160cm $12,39400
Description

The Rising Stallion White Wood Horse Sculpture stands 160cm tall and reinterprets the equine form through pure geometry. Rather than a figurative rendering, the horse is built from dozens of horizontal wood slabs — individually profiled, stacked and staggered so that the body, the lowered head and the raised foreleg emerge from layered contour rather than solid mass. Finished throughout in a clean white, the piece reads as architectural and graphic: each slab edge catches the light while the gaps between tiers hold shadow, giving the composition real depth and a strong sense of arrested motion. Slender black uprights lift the horse clear of its base so the whole form appears suspended mid-stride.

Layered Wood Slab Construction in White

Each wood slab is individually cut and profiled, then positioned and fixed in sequence to build the cumulative silhouette from hoof to crown — a labour-intensive method that gives the finished piece its defining character. The white finish is carried across every face and edge, so the layering reads as one continuous form rather than a stack of separate parts. The contrast between the bright white body, the slim black uprights and the dark plinth is the whole composition: weightless mass held above a grounded, minimal base. Viewed square-on the stacked tiers resolve into an unmistakable horse; step around the piece and the form dissolves back into rhythm, stripe and shadow before reassembling from the next angle.

At 160cm this abstract wood horse sculpture is a genuine focal point. It suits hotel lobbies, corporate reception spaces, equestrian properties, gallery interiors, and generous residential entrance halls and living rooms. The white finish reads cleanly against dark timber, raw concrete, deep painted walls and pale stone alike, and pairs naturally with contemporary and minimalist interiors.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.

The metal of antiquity

Solid Cast Bronze

Every one of our cast bronze sculptures is poured in solid bronze, the alloy sculptors have prized for more than five thousand years. It is heavier, warmer and far more enduring than any resin imitation, giving each bronze statue a depth and presence that only real metal can.

Poured by hand

Foundry Cast

Each piece is cast in a working foundry, where molten bronze is poured at over a thousand degrees, then cooled, broken out and worked by hand. It is a craft refined over centuries, and it is the reason every bronze sculpture carries the mark of the people who made it.

Made to your measure

Fully Bespoke

Have something specific in mind? We can scale the size, choose the patina and take on full commissions, casting a one-off bronze sculpture to your exact brief. Tell us what you picture, and our artists will make it.

A finish that lives

Hand-Patinated

Colour is brought to bronze by hand. Our finishers work each patina with heat and patience, so no two pieces are ever quite the same. Left outdoors, that patina keeps evolving, softening from bright metal into the deep greens and browns that collectors prize.

Built to outlast us all

Weatherproof for Life

Bronze has survived three thousand years of history, and ours is made to do the same. It shrugs off rain, frost and sun, which is exactly what makes bronze garden statues such a sound investment. Every piece is backed by our lifetime guarantee.

Anywhere in the world

Free Worldwide Shipping

Solid bronze is heavy, so we handle the hard part. Every sculpture travels by fully insured worldwide sea freight and arrives at your door in perfect condition, with nothing to pay on delivery.

Two large, black bear-shaped sculptures stand indoors near a window with a view of a yard. One sculpture is in the foreground with its back to the viewer, and the other faces forward, creating a mirrored effect. Trees and a chair are visible outside.
A shiny metallic bear sculpture stands on the corner of a modern buildings patio, mirrored by another similar black figure in the foreground. The area features minimalistic architecture with large glass windows.
