A red crown of water opens outwards from a cup at its root, set on a low black block on the tall black plinth it comes with. One side climbs in a tall, flame-like arm and the other curls up to about half its height, so the crown is open and widest across the top. The red is deepest in the cup at the root and pales to pink up the arms, running clear at the very tips, so the colour seems to rise through the water and leave it at the ends.
Red is the least forgiving tint in this material. A pale blue or an amber will absorb a difference in wall thickness and simply look a shade deeper in one place; a saturated red turns almost black where the material is heavy and washes out to pink where it is thin, and both are obvious from the far side of a room. On this crown that is the whole effect: the red gathers deep and saturated in the cup at the root, washes to pink as the arms climb and thin, and runs out clear at the very tips, where it catches the light like the ends of real spray. The crown is drawn opening rather than closing, one arm climbing far above the other, so the change from root to tip can be followed along every arm without one crossing in front of another.
It needs no surface, since the plinth brings it to 160cm, and it is placed like a floor piece against a quiet wall. The plinth puts the crown at eye level, which means whatever is on the wall behind it is directly in the same view and will be read with it. A plain wall, a stair return or the end of a hall all work; a gallery wall of pictures does not. Its floor space is little more than the plinth itself, though the crown spreads wider above, and it should stand clear of a doorway.
Making a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks, and making a bespoke one 5–6. A strong red shows every difference in thickness, so the crown runs from deep red at the root to clear at the tips. The red runs to an amber or a rose, the plinth is made in other heights, and the crown is drawn wider across the top. The crown, its block and the plinth are priced and supplied together, so the height quoted is the height you stand it at. The plinth travels crated on its side and the crown in a case packed to its widest point, and on site the crown is set on its block on top of the plinth. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A red crown raised on its own column is organic sculpture; the casting itself is resin sculpture; and a saturated tint holds its depth best under indoor sculpture light.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
