The Red & Gold Horned Drakoz Sculpture stands 60cm tall — a bold collectible-scale character piece cast in premium resin and finished in vivid red with electroplated gold accents. The figure wears a spiky red suit, scowling through bright red eyes with an unmistakably grumpy expression, the number 13 emblazoned across the chest. Twin horns rise from the head and oversized boots anchor the stance — both finished in genuine electroplated gold, not paint. Compact, characterful, and built for shelf-top, console, or display-cabinet presence, this is a designer sculpture that holds its own at every viewing angle.
The giant Drakoz sculpture is hand-cast in premium resin from a single master mould, capturing every detail of the spiked suit, the furrowed brow, and the angular silhouette of the character. The deep red bodywork is built up in layered automotive-grade lacquer, hand-polished to a smooth, light-catching finish that reads almost lacquered ceramic up close. The horns and boots are finished using genuine electroplating — a real metallic plating process that fuses a layer of gold-tone metal directly to the resin substrate. The result is a true reflective metal surface with depth and weight to it, not a painted gold imitation. Crisp facial detail — the red eyes, the scowling mouth, the bold white "13" graphic on the chest — is finished by hand to preserve the attitude that defines this contemporary sculpture.
At 60cm, the Drakoz works beautifully on a console table, sideboard, gallery plinth, retail display, or styled bookshelf. The red-and-gold palette pairs naturally with black lacquer, smoked glass, walnut, brass fittings, and monochrome interiors — a pop of bold colour that sharpens minimalist rooms and amplifies maximalist ones. Indoor display only.
Every Drakoz sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce. Production takes approximately 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops supporting production at scale.
Customisation is fully offered. Choose alternative sizes, an alternative colourway, different electroplated finishes (chrome, rose gold, black chrome), or commission a fully bespoke character piece designed from your brief or reference imagery. Contact us before ordering to discuss bespoke requirements.
