In a deep ruby red throughout, two blades of resin cross above one body. One curls upward into a sharp horn, the other reaches out to the far side and lifts a little at its point, and a looped arch rises over an open, scooped cradle between them. Darker streaks of red follow the line of each blade, and inside the cradle the colour turns brighter and more translucent, close to scarlet. A black marble block, squared and plain, comes with the piece.
One colour carries the whole piece, and the interest lies in how far it changes. At the centre, where the blades cross, the red is deep and dark, almost garnet, and the streaks drawn through it trace each curve like long strokes of a brush. Where the resin opens out, in the scooped cradle and along the reaching blade, it brightens to a clear scarlet that glows when light comes from behind, while the upturned horn stays dark to its tip. A full gloss on every surface keeps the reds rich and sends highlights running along the ridges.
A console table or a long sideboard suits it, with space at each end so the horn and the reaching blade stand out against open air. A pale wall behind sets off the ruby red, while a dark one makes it smoulder. Light from a window or a lamp behind it fills the cradle with scarlet, and it looks its best in a dining room, a hallway or a reception area where it is seen from the front. Indoor use only.
Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. As a commission the red can be deepened towards garnet or lifted towards a clearer scarlet, the darker streaks strengthened or omitted, with the blades spaced further apart. Its block can be reworked in a lighter stone if the room calls for it, and the wings can be made at a different span with their proportions kept. It travels in a single crate, bedded under the body with the horn and the blade padded separately, and it is carried by the body rather than by its horn, its blade or the loop. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Ruby red wings looping over a scooped cradle on black marble are listed with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
