Red & Clear Crystal Cluster Resin Sculpture, 100cm, faceted spires rising from a clear slab base, red fading to orange and clear, on a white background.
Red & Clear Crystal Cluster Resin Sculpture - 100cm $7,02000
Description

A cluster of faceted spires of graduated height rising from a common root, the group spread wide across the plan. Red at the roots of every spire, warming through orange and losing colour entirely at the points. Nothing is supplied under it: the cluster is cast onto its own clear slab and stands on that.

Twenty Readings of One Colour

A graduation running through a smooth body can only be read once. Cut the same body into twenty faceted spires and every face of every spire shows a different point along the run, so the colour is presented twenty times over and the eye can compare them against one another. Faceting a graduated body means every face of every spire reads at its own point on the run, so twenty points give twenty readings of one colour. Every facet polished flat and every point kept sharp, which on a piece with this many faces is most of the making.

A wide console or a low table it can be looked down onto, since the plan is what needs the room and not the height. It wants light behind it more than it wants a particular wall. Light from behind and low fires the whole cluster from the roots up; light from above finds only the points. It reads as one red mass from the door and separates into spires as you get near.

Turning the Colour Upside Down, and One Crate

Ours is a 3–4 week build as standard, and a 5–6 week build when the commission is bespoke. The spire count can be changed, the red can be set at the points instead of the roots, and the cluster is made at other spans. Reverse the run and the points go red while the roots clear, so the cluster reads as lit from above and the spire count is redrawn to suit. One crate, cast onto its slab already, and nothing to put together on site. Two people, hands under the slab and never on a point. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Faceted spires red at the root and clear at the point belong to our organic sculptures; the crystal casting joins our resin sculptures, and a low surface to look down on suits it among our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
