These nesting side tables are a pair: two low forms with cloud outlines that meet along a single wavy line so they sit together as one shape or apart as two tables. One is translucent red with a bark-like texture running through it; the other is glossy black with a matte etched metal top, so the pair share an outline and share nothing else.
The joining edge is the design. It waves in and out along its whole length, and the two pieces are cut to the same wave so they close against one another with no gap from any angle, which only works if both are made to the same profile at the same time. Everything else about them is deliberately opposite: the red piece is see-through and glossy with a vertical grain running through it; the black piece is opaque, and its top is a matte etched plate that takes no reflection at all. The red reads warm and open, the black reads solid and flat.
Both stand at coffee-table height, and nested they read as a single low surface. Pushed together they serve a three-seat sofa as one surface with two characters; drawn apart the red one works beside a chair and the black one at the end of a run of seating. The red wants light behind or beside it to read as translucent; the black wants none and will sit happily in a dim corner. They suit a scheme that can take a strong red, so plain walls and a quiet floor. Indoor use only.
Count on the difference between standard and bespoke: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The price is for the pair, which is worth stating plainly because the two read as separate tables. They are made together to one wave profile, so a single one ordered later will not close against an existing piece. What can be specified is the colour of each half independently: the translucent side is offered in any tint from the studio range, and the opaque side in black, white or a metal-topped grey, so a customer can have two translucent halves, two opaque ones, or the red-and-black contrast. Heights can be matched to a particular sofa. Each piece travels in its own fitted crate and is a one-person lift; they are set down separately and then walked together, since pushing them into contact across a floor scuffs the meeting edge that the whole design depends on. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two cloud tables that nest along one wave belong with our art furniture; the black table's fibreglass joins our fibreglass sculptures, and the cloud outlines our organic sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
