A large open vessel in deep red-amber resin. Its walls rise from a narrow foot and flare outward, and its rim is shaped into broad, rounded lobes like the petals of a flower opening. The whole surface is combed with fine vertical grooves, which catch the light, and the colour is deepest in the lobes of the rim, darkening almost to black along their edges, and warms to a glowing amber low in the belly above the foot.
The combing gives the vessel its texture and its movement: the grooves climb from the foot to the rim with the flare of the walls, so the form seems to rise and open like a flower, and no two grooves run quite parallel. The rim rises into lobes of different sizes, one standing tall at the side like an upright petal, which keeps it natural. The colour is graded down the walls, deepest red in the lobes and almost black along their edges, warming to amber low in the belly, so the vessel glows wherever light reaches its walls.
It is a floor piece, or a piece for a low plinth, in a hall, a living room or a reception. It can stand empty as a sculpture, or hold dried branches or a few large objects. With a window behind it the red glows like stained glass; on a dark floor it looks rich and deep. It suits a room with warm timber and natural textures.
Most pieces are standard and take 3–4 weeks; a bespoke commission takes 5–6. It can be cast in amber, green, blue or smoke instead of red, and the rim can be shaped with more or fewer lobes. A green vessel reads fresh and leaf-like; smoke more restrained, and amber warmer. Other sizes are possible, down to a table centrepiece, and a matched pair can frame a doorway or a fireplace. A padded crate carries it, and the vessel is raised with hands spread under its belly, never by the lobes of the rim. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A deep red vessel combed from its narrow foot to a lobed rim belongs among our organic sculptures, our contemporary and modern sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
