The Reclining Slatted Wood Sculpture at 350cm is a sweeping horizontal sculpture built from densely set vertical wood slats, shaped into the silhouette of a reclining figure dissolving into landscape. At 350cm long, the form rises into a rounded mass at one end, climbs to a peaked open arch at its centre, and tapers to a fine point at the other — the eye reads it now as a resting body, now as a horizon line, depending on the angle. The natural blonde-honey wood slats sit in tight repetition along the length, their tops following the silhouette so the form is sculpted entirely by the changing height of each slat.
Each slat is hand-cut from solid wood, threaded onto the sculpture's internal spine, and sanded smooth so the overall surface reads as a single continuous skin of rhythmic verticals. The shifting heights across the 350cm length build the reclining silhouette out of repetition rather than carving, and the central arch creates negative space the viewer can read through. This 350cm reclining slatted wood sculpture anchors long, horizontal architectural spaces: museum atriums, boutique hotel lobbies, designer showrooms, gallery floor pieces, corporate receptions, and open-plan residential interiors. The natural honey palette pairs cleanly with concrete, raw stone, brushed steel, plaster, and pale wood floors. Indoor display only.
All of our sculptures are fully customisable. Whether you require a different size, an alternative finish, or a bespoke colour, we can tailor this piece to suit your exact vision. Please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements.

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.
For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.
Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
